brain injury from birth

There is a beautiful woman in our community who I often see on the ferry with one or more children with mental disabilities of varying degrees. She is a respite carer and looks after the children while their parents have time out. One of these 'children' is a 16yr old young man who is usually in a helmet to protect his head from seizures, whom she just leads around by the hand. He cannot speak and has minimal interaction. One day on the ferry with her permission I gave him a session which was brief but included hooking up all his five senses on both the physical and subtle levels.
Two days later I was amazed to see him walking slowly past our house, looking at everything, with his carer walking a bit behind him. She was overjoyed and so excited, exclaiming that he just "woke up"! She said he kept turning his head to hear sounds so she took him out for a walk. I am such a sook, I cried.
